I am a wanna-be Pioneer Woman, dog mom, craft supply hoarder, photographer and new wife living in Oklahoma. I believe in window shopping, big hair, budgeting, making list and a little Reba McEntire is good for the soul.
I am the face behind B.Davis Photography+Design! I have always loved photography and started my business back in 2010. Since then I have photographed anything from the Arkansas State Fair Livestock Show to weddings at fancy churches to newborns in superhero capes to sweet 65th anniversary parties.
On June 11, 2016, I married the love of my life at my parents farm in southwest Oklahoma. The wedding planning started out a little bit crazy with a switch in venues about a month before the wedding, but it went so much better than I ever imagined. I always wanted to get married at my parent's house, but didn't want my parents to go through so much trouble. However, when the venue A and B didn't work out then C is what it had to be and it was perfect! I can't think my parents, brother, aunts and uncles and friends enough for all their help making our big day as beautiful as I ever dreamed.
Now, we live in one of my favorite towns ever in a cute little house that is beaming with farm house influenced decor. We have a very eclectic taste, so you never know what you will find in our house.
I am not a cook by any means, but part of my blog post will be about simple recipes that even I didnt screw up which means they are fool proof! However, there will also be plenty of post that are epic "Pinterest fails," so be prepared for those too.
When I am not trying to cook, crafting, sewing or photographing, I love spending time at the farm with my husband, hanging with the dogs and browsing Pinterest for new craft and cooking projects.
